Professor develops the Spine Surgery Centre at Vratislavia Medica Hospital. He has also authored dozens of publications on spinal surgery.<\/p>

          Doctor Maciej Mi\u015b is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Wroc\u0142aw, which he completed in 2000. He began his adventure with microsurgery already during his studies as a member of the Hand and Peripheral Nerve Surgery Circle and during internships at the<\/p>

          Plastic Surgery Clinic in Polanica Zdr\u00f3j. During his specialisation he became interested in the developing techniques of minimally invasive endovascular treatment of cerebral vascular malformations under the supervision of one of the pioneers of this treatment, Doctor Maciej Szajner.<\/p>

          He obtained his specialisation in neurosurgery in 2009.<\/p>

                In 2016, Doctor Maciej Mi\u015b, together with his brother Doctor Marcin Mi\u015b, an interventional radiologist, developed a technique for treating complex aneurysms referred to as the \u201cTeddy Bear Technique\u201d. <\/strong><\/p>

                The \u201cTeddy Bear Technique\u201d is a novel method of treating brain aneurysms without having to open the skull. The first procedure using this technique was carried out on a 34-year-old patient with a middle cerebral artery aneurysm, which no doctor wanted to operate on. Doctor Maciej Mi\u015b together with Doctor Marcin Mi\u015b were the first in the world to develop this method of treating complicated aneurysms.<\/strong><\/p>
